About Ann

About Ann Wright - Coach. Facilitator. Consultant.

I have worked across a broad range of industries especially in the public and not-for-profit sectors, aviation, transport, regulation, health, higher education, membership and professional services.

My own life and work experiences, transitions and reinventions have helped me build deep personal resilience, determination and purpose. Travelling broadens my perspective of the world. Leonard Cohen and his music inspires me.

My clients and colleagues often describe me as a trusted companion who provides a safe space for reflection and exploration and is committed to the highest professional standards. My friends value my communication and listening skills and my being a truth-teller and provocateur. My grandchildren think I am funny!

I have a love of learning, evidenced by a Masters in Public Policy, a Bachelor of Science Honours (Psychology) and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors program. I am proudly a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and mentor coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). To continue to build my coaching competencies, I am a Certified Narrative Coach and recently completed the Professional Certificate of Advanced Study in Coaching Supervision with Oxford Brookes in the UK.

Change and transition is what I focus on in my work with leaders, managers and coaches.  I am inspired by working with my clients as they develop themselves to become more powerful people of integrity, who engage and empower others to create great results – for themselves and their businesses.

My qualifications and work experiences across a range of sectors, have given me the understanding of what is needed to be successful in a new leadership role.  I am known for my analytical, data driven and considered approach. I combine this with courage, compassion and candour.  I am both accepting and challenging.

I support you to create space to explore HOW you want to lead and WHAT you want to achieve.  I walk with you to work out how you can be most effective as a leader.
